Our fixed side case carrier in black is specifically designed for the KTM 890 SMT (2023-) onwards. These carriers are securely attached to the motorcycle frame and provide a sturdy foundation for almost all Hepco&Becker touring side case systems. The cases are securely fastened to the carrier using a metal locking mechanism to prevent theft. For this purpose, a locking adapter is required, which is usually included in the delivery of the side cases. This locking adapter is attached to the carrier on the rear right and left sides and serves as the receptacle for the case locking mechanism. The carriers are model-specifically designed and provide effective protection for the rider's or passenger's legs in the event of a fall. In most cases, the Hepco&Becker side case carriers can be easily combined with our rear carriers. Please refer to the included installation instructions and model-specific guidelines for more information. The construction is made of high-quality steel tubing and is manufactured in Germany. The surface finish is carefully crafted. The carriers are compatible with most Hepco&Becker hard-shell side cases. Please note the model-specific guidelines for any potential limitations with the respective carriers. The turn signals generally remain in their original position, but may need to be adjusted in some cases to ensure the optimal light angle. Included in the delivery are the carriers for the right and left sides, the necessary mounting material, and an instruction manual. Luggage systems typically do not require ABE or registration. The tube diameter is 16 mm.
